It's the moment we all have been waiting for!
We have a winner!
Brady the Cat was the first to figure out that I have been making a Time Machine. Now, he did have a little help, I think. But let me make a couple of points clear:
1. The line between resourcefulness
and cheating is very thin. Especially for cats.
2. I never said the clues would be helpful.
Many of you had good guesses! Some
were questions I have studied before, like "Which comes first, the chicken or
the egg?"
Others sent ideas I might use soon, like space travel.
Some of my favorite guesses involved HOT PANTS--electric ones to cook my CHICKEN, light up ones for the stage.
But only one right answer!
Congratulations, Brady, your 8x10 signed photo of me will be in your mailbox soon!
"So, Lyle," you might ask, "how did you get so interested in Quantum Physics and Time Travel?" Well, I'll tell you. As I've said before, I have always been a curious Whigle. Burning questions are always in my mind. (Ouch! Hot stuff, baby!) And I have long suspected that the bosses have a Time Machine of their own. You see, they have this little room with only a strange sort of chair in it. They go in and close the door, and I'm not allowed to see what happens. They do this several times a day. So I come to the only logical conclusion: they are taking trips on a secret Time Machine. They are sneakier than they look.
These thoughts have been bouncing around in
my Bump of Knowledge for some time now. Then, POOF! I am presented with my
own Science Lab (that's Smelly Belly to you). Now I can finally put out
some of the flames of the burning (ouch!) questions.
Construction begins. I put the
CHICKEN in charge of my Flux Capacitor, which, as anyone knows who has studied
time travel, is key to success. Smelly Belly was supervising.
Many long moments of hard labor
later....still no success. Back to the drawing board. Nothing seemed
to be working. Eventually I go back to where it all started...the secret
closet. I wait for the boss ma'am to go in. She doesn't let me
follow. I listen closely....and I hear WATER rushing. Could this be
the key?? I rush out to the Lab. I add water.
SUCCESS!! My Time Machine works!! YES! YES! Bwah-ha-ha!! So many questions waiting to be answered! So many times to explore. When do I go first? Yesterday was a very nice day...but you'll just have to wait and see!
