Game on!

I like games.  Or I guess I should say I like to make up games.  Traditional games like "fetch" and "obedience", not so much.  Blanket Game...now that's a classic.  I play it almost every night.

Here's how it works:

1.  Run around the bedroom like a crazy dog, do circles on the bed and rile up the grrrls.

2.  Do little circles in the kennel and lie down.

3.  Get up, stare at blankets in kennel.

4.  Pull out a blanket.

5.  Find a playmate (the Boss Ma'am is best but the Boss Man will do in a pinch...but he does pinch, so he's not as much fun).

6.  Tug on the blanket!  Toss the blanket!  Hide under the blanket!  Nibble toes under the sanctuary of the blanket!  Gnaw holes in the blanket!

What fun.  Even better, I make the rules.  1.  No pinching!  2.  No touching my feet.  3.  No fanny-smacking.  4.  No pinching!

The winner is always me, of course.

The bosses got a new game for Christmas.  I really didn't think I'd like it.  After all, it comes with the rules already made up--what fun is that?  Also, it's called Bananagrams, and I really don't care for bananas unless they are in bread.  Mmm...banana bread.  AnyLoo, I thought, here's just another boring human game.  But then I looked a little closer.  Hey!  This is a great game!  Look:

Now that's a winner if I ever saw one.
