Happy Marty Grah.  What a strange name for a celebration.  I asked Little Bit who Marty is.  She says he's French and today is all about eating and getting fat.  She would know, I guess.

She also says that tomorrow we start Lent.  I say, "You can't have my toys whether you give them back or not."  She says, "Don't I know it."  Well, at least that's settled.

Evidently there is also something about 6 weeks of fasting.  Hmmm....I wonder if  the groundhog is back.  Maybe if Fat Marty sees his shadow we will have another 6 weeks of winter.  And then maybe we are supposed to hibernate.  I should ask my polar bear about that.  He would know.

Little Bit says, "Lyle, Lyle, Lyle.  There is NO polar bear in your kennel.  That is a pillow.  You rest on it and it is comfortable."

Poor Little Bit.  Denial is so powerful.
