Nuthin' like a good nap.  I've had some real beauties lately.  Warm sun, warm whigle.  Sweet, sweet dreams.

I think it's funny how people are always wondering what dogs dream about.  I don't wonder what people dream about.  I figure you all dream about me.

Well, let me tell you, maybe part of the reason people want to know about dog dreams is that they don't do the sleep thing as well as dogs do.  Let me tell you how it's done.  I'll do it with you.

Get sleepy.  This should not be hard. 

Look for a sunny spot on the floor, or better yet, a soft spot on the couch.

Settle for your kennel if you must.

Close your eyes.

See, wasn't that easy?  I had a great nap.  I'll even tell you what I dreamt about.  I dreamed I was a movie star! 

Then I dreamed I caught a rabbit.  (Mmm, marshmallow filling).  Then I dreamed I caught a squirrel.  (Mmm, maple filling)  Then I dreamed I caught a cat.  (Mmm, cat filling)  Makes me drooly just remembering.  I should go see if Little Bit will beg a biscuit for me.  Wonder if the boss man will get me a cat.
